Beni tanıyanlar Reddit'i ne kadar çok sevdiğimi bilir.

Arkadaşlarımla Reddit benzeri bir site niye Türkiye'de yok diye çok tartışmışızdır. Sonunda tartışarak bir yere varamayacağımızı düşündük ve Reddit Türkiye olan bakgitt'i açtık.

Sosyal medya sayesinde en az 4-5 farklı sosyal medya ağını takip eder olduk. Artık ilgi alanları ve takip ettiğimiz kişiler derken bu yükten kalkmak çok zor oldu. Öyle bir çözüm bulmalıyız ki hem güncellik hem de popülerlik işin içinde olmalı. Bunu sağlayan teknolojiler şu andaki sosyal medya kavramından çok daha öte bir şey olacak. Ben buna sosyal medya 2.0 diyorum -bakın bu deyimi ve bu şekilde tarifi yakın zamanda bir çok kişiden duymaya başlayacaksınız, ilk ben söyleyeyim dedim-.

Maalesef en yeniden en eskiye doğru güncellemelerin sınırlandırıldığı feed mantığı artık işlemiyor ya da bu şekilde bir bakışta ne oluyor sorusunun cevabını bulamıyorsunuz. bakgitt'i kurcalamaya başladığınızda göreceksiniz ki gerçekten bu soruna çözüm bulmuşuz.

SosYay!: Disable publishing through the day!

One month ago, we introduced "intervals" that you can set between your posts so that your followers will not be overwhelmed by several posts at a time.

Today we are introducing our newest feature: disabling publishing for some hours of a day.

To use this feature, go to one of your group settings page (by clicking a text icon right after the group icon) and select the hours that your posts will not be send to corresponding social media sites.

In the example above, any updates that are happening between 1:00 and 8:00 will wait until 8 o'clock (don't worry, the 2 hours of interval will still apply after 8 o'clock). The best part of this is that when you select 23:00 from the first selectbox and 07:00 from the second selectbox, your updates will be published at 7:00 AM next day :)

In order to have a good experience with this feature, we need to know which timezone you are. You can select your timezone from the settings of your account.

Notice that timezone is set via account basis while you can define different intervals between posts and hour restrictions for each of your groups.

One of the main problems of publishing tools is having too many updates at the same time. Actually, this is  normal since a lot of people write several blog posts, updates, etc in a series and they tend to use social media tools to publish their social media accounts similar to how they write posts: too many updates in one time!

But this is a very bad for followers since they see several of your tweets or Facebook wall posts covering all of their Twitter timelines or Facebook news feeds. In order to solve this problem we introduces "interval between posts" for groups.

Starting from today, when you create or edit a group you will have a chance to define the hours between posts. So if your first post is published now (provided that you do not publish anything for three hours), and if you set your interval as "3 hours", your next post will be published to your social media accounts after 3 hour past from the publishing time of your first post.

We hope this feature will be very useful if you really hate the idea of clogging your subscribers' timelines several posts in a row. The best part of this feature is that you can post these updates in a series at one time and SosYaY will take care of the rest :)

The next natural step for this feature is that have a scheduled posts. So that you can exactly define when your posts will be published in accounts in the groups (for example, tomorrow 7 pm). Also we are try to show a list of all posts that are scheduled in advance (including the posts that are postponed due to the interval setting).

Notice that intervals are only limited to groups. So the feature is not available for individual Twitter, Facebook or FriendFeed acccounts.

QA TurkishTech ise teknoloji konusunda yeni bir soru ve cevap sosyal ağı olma hedefini amaçlıyor. Yurtdışında Quora, StackExchange gibi sitelerin güzel taraflarını Türk kullanıcısının damak tadına hitap edecek şekilde entegre ettiğimiz QA TurkishTech, teknoloji ve teknik konularda en önemli Türkçe kaynaklardan birisi olacaktır.
